Time for a change.

Twenty-twenty has been incredibly difficult for everyone, especially when it comes to remaining productive and enthusiastic about your work. At least this has been the case for me, since the beginning of 2021. In 2020, work commitments took up my brain space and made me lose all enthusiasm for my blog, “Crystals and Catalysts” and science writing in general. I would be so exhausted by the weekend I wouldn’t have the energy to focus on anything else. 

After speaking to a couple of friends, I felt that I needed to have a clear focus on what I am communicating and who I am communicating to. Thanks to their advice and encouraging words, I am now working on a new project which has a clearer focus and it is something that I enjoy reading and writing about. This doesn’t mean “Crystals and Catalysts” is going anywhere, it’s still my ‘beloved first-born’ but sometimes you need to try something new. 

So you will be seeing some changes to this account (including the social media handles!) and a re-introduction. I’m so excited to be sharing this new journey with you and thank you for still following me, even though I haven’t been so active in the past year. 

وقت التغيير.

كان هذا العام صعبًا للغاية على الجميع ، لا سيما عندما يتعلق الأمر بالحفاظ على الإنتاجية والحماس لعملك. كان هذا هو الحال بالنسبة لي على الأقل في عام 2020 ، في بداية عام 2021. في عام 2020 ، استحوذت التزامات العمل على مساحة عقلي وجعلتني أفقد كل الحماس لمدونتي "البلورات والمحفزات" والكتابة العلمية بشكل عام. أكون منهكة للغاية بحلول نهاية الأسبوع ، ولن أمتلك الطاقة للتركيز على أي شيء آخر.

بعد التحدث إلى اثنين من الأصدقاء ، شعرت أنني بحاجة إلى التركيز بشكل واضح على ما أتواصل به ومن أتواصل معه. بفضل نصيحتهم وكلماتهم المشجعة ، أعمل الآن على مشروع جديد له تركيز أكثر وضوحًا وهو شيء أستمتع بالقراءة والكتابة عنه. هذا لا يعني أن "البلورات والمحفزات" ستذهب إلى أي مكان ، فهي لا تزال  مونتي الاول و الحبيب ولكن في بعض الأحيان تحتاج إلى تجربة شيء جديد.

لذلك ستروا بعض التغييرات في هذا الحساب (بما في ذلك اسامي حسابات الوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي!) وإعادة مقدمة. أنا متحمسة جدًا لمشاركة هذه الرحلة الجديدة معكم وأشكركم على متابعتكم لي ، على الرغم من أنني لم أكن نشطًا في العام الماضي.
